Buildability Appraisal
As an experienced Façade Contractor, we are aware that a significant cause of additional cost and delay on a project can be due to insufficient upfront design and / or interfacing complications.
Bishop Façades Limited provide a bespoke service during which we will review a design, whatever stage it may have reached, and give our feedback on the buildability of that design paying close attention to the individual components of the façade and the interface with interior or adjacent structures.
We have an experienced and specialised team including Architects and Structural Engineers, Masons and Steel Fixers, to review the current concept / design and advise on any issues allowing these to be addressed at an early stage.
This upfront involvement can improve both programme and cost certainty by reducing the likelihood of unexpected changes and variations whilst the work is being carried out.
We feel that this collaborative approach with Contractors, Architects, and Clients will enhance the industry by giving a practical input to minimise design changes and lay the foundations for a smoother running project.
